And done. Hopefully. Sending it back and forth slowed things down quite a bit, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. buca did a really nice job.
I'm still a little unsure of the legs, but a couple of other people I asked said they didn't see any issues with them so maybe the slight tweaks we made were enough...

We're mainly deciding how big the keese girl should be in relation to Link, and how that should work in the sketch we have. There are a few other quirks that've been hindering progress as well. Its back and forth at the moment, but we're getting there.

I actually really like this, the composition is nice, and when it's more finished there could be a bit more criticism, but i think you both did a nice job.

ReplyDeleteThese scenes only appear when Link loses all of his life during the fight. Monster girls may also be stronger than they appear.
DeleteHis other arm seems to be missing unless it's kept at his side. So far so good though besides that.

DeleteIt looks slightly disproportionate or just "off" for some reason when it comes to his legs and the angle. I might be wrong though. I do like the entirety of the image though, it is lookin' pretty good.

ReplyDeleteIt seems I was a bit late, but here's some criticism-
ReplyDeleteThe problem with the legs looks like a problem with foreshortening, which is prevalent issue in a lot of work that artists do. There's also a lack of consistency when it comes to Link, he looks older than he's supposed to in this drawing and it doesn't even match the sprite on the side panel.
There seems to be proportion issues as well, but mostly that's due to foreshortening it seems. Also the width of his ballsack and dick looks a bit strange. Link is quite young in your sprite and in the actual game, though while he looks much older in this drawing his dick/balls also seem to just simply not match at all with the disproportionate body/legs, as they themselves are disproportionate as well.
The entire thing looks "Off", to say the least.
