  2. I would love to volunteer as a writer, but I honestly don't know if I can devote the amount of time required for it. I'm in University currently, in my first year and future English Major, as well as a Legend of Zelda fan since the first day I could hold a controller.

I just really can not wait for this to finish. It's dangerous to go alone, take this: <3 <3 </

  3. Well I could help out as a writer, I know quite a bit about LoZ : OoT seeing as how it was the first game I ever played and I clocked it three times. And as for time I'm usually always available during the day but at night I tend to... Dissappear...

    1. Of course I'm a tad busy at the moment so I'd only begin to start helping in about one month's time.

    2. Hello. If possible, could you provide us with a sample of any written works you may have? In the mean time join the steam group if you can and we'll see what happens. Thanks.

If you have any questions or concerns, email me.

  4. Hey, y'all. I'm totally interested in helping as a writer. I don't really have anything I'm willing to share on here, but give me a scene and I'll write it up, and you can judge that!
I've got weekends and about 2 nights a week I can help.

    1. Thanks for the interest! I can't assign you a scene for various reasons, but if you're up for sending something you've written to either chrom or I (via email), we'd be happy to take a look.

    2. Hey Ling. I'm working on a little something right now that should be done soon. I'll send it on to ya as soon as it's done.

    3. Well, my pc hates me today, so I'll just post the link here: http://daebii.deviantart.com/art/Link-s-Conversation-with-the-Great-Deku-Tree-394964193

    4. You seem enthusiastic, which is great. However, I gotta be straight with you, I'm a little hesitant after reading through your DA. I feel like your style of writing and the direction you took that conversation in is very different from anything we are and will be doing.
On a side note, your post on the main page was certainly appreciated.

    5. I'm aware that the conversation I wrote is inconsistent with the direction your team is going, it was merely a fanfiction, if you will. I don't have any reference for the style your team is utilizing, either, else I would have strived to maintain it in my piece. I'm nothing, if not flexible ;D

    6. Haha, sorry if that was confusing. Of course you wouldn't be able to match what we were doing without knowing about it, that would be quite impressive if you could. Your short could have been entirely unrelated to LoZ and I would've said the same thing.
I'm not quite sure how to properly express what I mean, but judging by what I've read, I feel like even if we gave you detailed instructions on how we'd like to see a potential scene, it would be unwittingly taken in a different type of direction than intended because the way you write is so very different from what we're trying to go with. I don't mean to doubt your flexibility, its just the feeling I get. I could be dead wrong though, so we could try testing this out if you wanted.

    7. Lets test it then. Gimme something to write :D

    8. Awesome, I like that attitude. I'm glad what I said didn't put you off.

In order to make this as simple as possible to judge, try writing up some kind of interaction between Link and an OoT girl of your choosing. However, Link must remain silent and the girl true to her real character. Bonus points if you can write it in a way that's reminiscent of OoT's style. Finally, and I doubt you'd have a problem with this, but no cussing, slang, *actions*, emoticons, etc.
