There definitely should be some form of behind view IMO, like you stated with the variation, coupled with this drawing.
I would suggest ripping the bottom of the clothing or such (Or is it ripped already?). It's more diffcult to see what's going on with this being a sketch.
Okay so, I flipped it to get a better look. Here's some more slight criticisms.
DeleteThe right arm reaching out seems slightly awkward as it's positioned. It might just be me. I think the positioning with the shoulder might be just slightly off, but it looks like she's doing a sieg heil.
I would suggest more tears as well, she's getting butt raped by a bat, with gravity defying balls, I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume it wouldn't be very pleasant. I mean unpleasant enough to sieg heil, but not unpleasant enough to cry about it? (Save a single welled up tear)
Also her upper teeth miiiiight be visible in that angle with her mouth open.
One last thing, it looks like since somehow the Keese pulled down her top and split the bottom of her dress open to conveniently show some of her ass/penetration, seems a bit ridiculous to me.
DeleteBut that's not the problem, the dress would be hiked up the sash due to her being upside down, so the dress wouldn't even be around her thighs/hips, it would be up towards her lower stomache. So there really shouldn't be anything visible waist down.

Yeah alright, there's two more things I just noticed. The left arm looks quite awkward as well in the positioning, along with the visible breast. I'm not sure if it's incorrect anatomy/positioning or just awkward positioning, due to the pose itself being a bit awkward it's hard to tell, though it does simply look "off".
DeleteI would say it's because the left arm doesn't look like it's actually hanging over the wing in an idle position. She's pulling her left arm back and reaching forward with her right. Though in both cases it just seems very awkward arm positioning.
I mean if this is the start of the butt rape too, she probably wouldn't be leaning forward but arching her back with a more surprised look. Then again I really am unaware of a lot of the context, just bat rape.
The pose in general does look a bit awkward. But as I said before, despite these minor flaws, I personally do like it. I think you're doing a good job. I'll look forward to seeing the finished/updated version.
(A lot of the awkwardness from the pose simply comes from it looking slightly/moderately stiff, rather than dynamic. It's a problem I have as well occasionally.)

I definitely agree with you on the arms and the pose overall. Needless to say this was pretty awkward to draw up. I'm fairly concerned about Navi's and the keese's likeness as well to be honest and I'm hoping I can tweak and fix a lot of these issues before it gets finalized.

Not like bat junk has to be super anatomically correct though, ya know? I think people are mostly wanting to see Navi getting butt raped instead of most of the time spent on bat balls, but if you were trying to get it all anatomically correct, then it looks incorrect with maybe both the penis and balls. Not a big deal though.

It does look better, though in my opinion it looks like you should have added some of Navi's ripped clothing from the first sketch. Her pulling on the bat's wing is a nice touch as well, it looks much better than having an idle hand positioned awkwardly.
If you do host a poll next, for the next scene, will you add more options or more girls/monster combinations to vote for? Don't get me wrong, Saria is pretty great, but she's overdone, and I'm glad that Navi is getting some love, or rather rape, as porn of her is rare.

DeleteIn general my initial sketches tend to be pretty not good. I go over them several times before ultimately finalizing anything. The feedback here though has been incredibly helpful. I mean I was thinking of scrapping this early on just because it was so weird to get the hang of, so the support and advice really made a huge difference.
As for the clothes, I would've liked to have kept them in. Unfortunately the problem was things are already fairly confusing under the wing and I felt trying to add them back in made it even more so.
I guess I will host another poll, and I might as well put it up now. As for the choices, it'd be the same girls and mostly the same options. We have more things behind the scenes, but I'd like to keep it to what's been shown on the blog (keeps some things a surprise) and whether or not it can be used for what we're working on now. I'd like to throw Fado in there, but anything we do with her wouldn't be immediately useable.

Variations is something I've put a lot of thought into. It ultimately boils down to how much time I can spare and if the scene in question is worth it. Its certainly possible.

He would probably have to update it to your style of drawing Link, the one he used before was the red liner dude's style who did all of his art. I could be wrong, but I think /f/dude did most of the art. He showed me some images of Ruto (I don't think were on the blog) and he told me he drew them from scratch. He also created a deku scrub girl in his own style as well, and both those match the style of the images on his blog. Though the link in that deku gangbang scene could have been the other artists as it looked a little different if I remember correctly.

I thiiiink you may be wrong, because I have all the art he posted before it was fixed, then after by the red liner. Before that guy helped his Ruto was referenced pretty hard with tons of anatomy issues that got solved by people giving feedback just like here, and with that guy doing a ton of fixes. Then it turned into him doing all of the art period pretty much, it looked like /f/dude just traced the red lines. I used to hang out on his blog almost every day, and I have all the art saved that he posted and i remember a lot of the posts he made.

Well that didn't really come out of nowhere if you paid attention day per day. It was mostly homophobic remarks from /v/ and /f/dude making remarks and saying he was forced to do "gay shit", then it turned into flaming in the comments against the people who helped him day by day, then /f/dude didn't delete the comments or moderate any of them, leaving them up, which turned into a giant argument in the comment section, then went on /v/ to talk more shit, blaming the people wanting yaoi for ruining his project or rather agreeing with the people who said that if i remember right. This happened several times. Then from my understanding there was some sort of falling out with the people who were helping him, then he shut down the blog after he made a blog post saying "I fucked up", then deleted the blog. It was kind of overdramatic if you ask me, he didn't handle any of it very well.

He contacted me practically out of nowhere and said he screwed up badly (didn't tell me what happened) and he hopes it never happens to us. That wasn't when he joined though (I reached out to a month or two afterwards).

DeleteA bit of both. When I first reached out to him, I proposed the idea that we combine what we wanted to see from our respective projects. Since both projects were fairly open ended, I felt it could be a win-win situation (he starts working again, and we get an awesome animator).
Ah, yeah in that case it can be a bit of a killjoy. No worries her though, Navi will remain most displeased with predicament throughout the ordeal. We are trying to keep them true to character as much as possible after all. That said, we are considering how these characters may or may not develop and adapt to the situation they're being thrown into...

Well, we're not actually staying true to the happenings of OoT so much, as we're just trying to stay true to the heroines. Its harder than it may seem, but we're doing our best.

1. Sadly that's looking unlikely. I could update, but at this point it'd be better just to finish. But I work tomorrow so I'll be needing to head of reasonably soon and there's still a good deal of coloring to be done.

ReplyDeleteThe monsters I've put up are all the ones that can be found in the master quest version of OoT's Deku Tree Dungeon (aside from mad scrubs, or gold skulltulas, but there's not much point in that). There will be more monsters to go down on later on, but for now that's what we're using.
