I would like to thank the crew of Zelda: Visual Novel for letting me join...again.
Taking longer and longer to update. I've gotten pretty busy lately, and the time working on this project has gotten scarce. Hopefully, this will get better.
I forgot to mention, feedback on the updates will help out a lot!

Welp, went with damage control. I'm not about to let my stupid and poorly thought out comments ruin /f/dude's post when its entirely my fault. I apologize, I never intended for my first response to be anything more than, an apparently, very poor attempt at humor. I shouldn't have assumed you were the same anon as before who hopefully knows I wouldn't be offended by this kind of comment, and I completely failed to take into account that what I said may come off as sarcastic.
DeleteXD fanny jokes aside, are you guys actually going to fix the Link Sprite? Navi looks iffy as fuck too just saying.
ReplyDeleteGuess I can't avoid having to go to /ic/ eventually with those two. Some people I've asked say they look fine, others think Link looks god awful. This is one of the few times I've heard things are iffy about Navi, though I do think there are some anatomical quirks that could be ironed out there.

ReplyDeleteAs the one who has either drawn (scene in this post), or finalized (sprites in the sidebar) the images, could I trouble you by asking what you think is wrong with some of the sprites?
ReplyDeleteSo wait, there won't be any Yaoi content at all until you find an artist to do it? (Don't you have like 3 artists on your team?)
ReplyDeleteIncluding me, and /f/dude, we have two other artists (who provide sketches). I take their sketches and I line and color them. /f/dude seems to prefer working with a base for his animations as it speeds up the process for him, so it looks like I may be sketching and lining future scenes for him to work off of, like I did for this one.
DeleteSo, out of the four of us, /f/dude is the only one who's neutral about working with yaoi. I don't care to draw it, and neither do the other two. The only reason we want to include it is because our programmer is interested in it. We would need an artist who can draw yaoi from start to finish, as well as be willing to make life easier for /f/dude by providing work for him to animate from. /f/dude could do it himself, but he's already got a lot on his plate and, like I said, he's neutral on yaoi. So unless he expresses interest in wanting to work on a yaoi scene, he's going to be working on what we have until a yaoi artist shows up.

No problem. That's disappointing, came here from /f/dude's blog and it's looking like no yaoi for this project. While I'm not really interested in much else, i wish you guys the best of luck. I'll drop by again if you guys ever find another artist for it.
DeleteUnderstandable, sorry to disappoint. We are looking for someone to join us, and its not as if the opportunity for yaoi will expire so I do believe its only a matter of time before it happens.
